About Tony //

Tony Sheard is an accomplished and passionate speaker with the heart to bring fresh purpose and direction in the modern Christian world; especially to help build the local church and transform lives to be all that God wants them to be.

Tony was born in Yorkshire, and currently lives just outside Bath in the UK, with his wife, Julie. He was born again during a mission at an Anglican church in Dover, where he also trained and went on to become a lay reader. He moved to Bath in 1978 and was baptised in the Spirit. Shortly after he worked with Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International (FGBMFI), undertook Bible School training and experienced the miraculous as he ministered to others.

Kenneth Copeland Ministries (KCM) and Faith Christian Fellowship (FCF) introduced him to the power of the Word of Faith and the importance of supportive ministries in the church - both of which he now teaches through Bible School curriculums and seminars. Tony is also on the board of trustees of KCM and UK relational representative for FCF International. Having spent a number of years as a speaker in various churches throughout Europe and the USA, Tony and Julie became the first European Directors of Jesse Duplantis Ministries, steering the office successfully through five years of pioneering growth.

During this time they received a call from God to pastor and formed Living Word Christian Centre, which they led together for nine years. Tony developed the one-year, part-time Bible School curriculum during this time and ran the school for four years. He has also ministered extensively to other leaders and ministers. Tony has a desire to help the local church come alive and face the challenges of the 21st century whilst retaining its timeless message to the world. He longs to see people fulfil the destiny and purpose of their lives, and is committed to powerfully evoking the Holy Spirit when preaching the Word.

On the prompting of the Lord he stepped out of pastoring and formed Living Word UK as an outreach of LWCC. In this role he can carry God's message to the world, and compassionately support those who need help, which is a vital part of the ministry. Tony is available to speak and has a desire to work with churches as they fulfil the vision of God in their communities, and be a part of the tremendous things that the Holy Spirit is doing around the globe.
