Missions //

Ever since its inception Living Word has promoted the importance of linking mission objectives with a desire to come alongside and to strengthen relationships. We do this by working together, supporting spiritual and material needs to give people the best life possible. Whoever has earthly possessions and notices a brother in need and yet withholds his compassion from him, how can the love of God remain in him?', 1 John 3:17

In pursuing this goal we have always set aside a minimum of 10% of our income to support projects of this nature. We will continue to do so in the future, developing relationships that complement our calling and assignment from the Lord. We have also given a large amount of children's and youth ministry equipment to Living Word International in Slough, including a set of drums. We gave away a guitar to a church in Reading, and we continue to sponsor local benevolent projects, as well as Alpha Courses and Leadership Training events through the EQUIP programme in which we have been participating.
