The Full Story
Tony and Julie Sheard began Living Word Christian Centre, initially as a church, in 1999.
They seek to help both the local and wider church to flourish and grow, empowering
people to live a confident life, positively influencing others, and fulfilling their dreams.
Living Word changed direction to an itinerant ministry in 2008, taking that same message
throughout the world, impacting others with the life-transforming message of Christ, and
enabling people to live a victorious Christian life. Operating now as Living Word UK, we
have travelled extensively with connections in many parts of the world, including the USA,
Romania, Russia, Nigeria, Kenya, Pakistan and the Philippines, in addition to various parts
of the UK.
Tony has developed a variety of skills over decades of ministry. In addition to teaching the
Word of God in different contexts, he has both taught on, and practically headed up, a
number of major conventions in the area of supportive ministries. He is also a qualified
ministry coach and is being used increasingly in the area of healing.
Tony has a long and fruitful relationship with Kenneth Copeland Ministries, having served on the
European board for many years. His varied and extensive experience places Living Word in a
unique position to come alongside and help pastors and ministers to shape the culture of their
local church, and to position for growth as the Holy Spirit leads. Living Word is keen to serve the
local church, which we believe is God’s key plan for the world, and to help it to become all that He desires it should be.

Tony has also authored two books, one on godly character, entitled Under Construction
and the other on the book of Ephesians, entitled Under The Son. More information can be found in Resources.
A key focus of the ministry is Living Word Bible School, the purpose of which is to enable
people to grow in knowledge and understanding of the Word of God and so fulfil their
purpose in life.
Living Word UK is credentialed with Churches in Community International and Tony is on
their Council of Reference and is involved in conducting annual peer reviews. Living Word
is a company limited by guarantee, with a strong team of Trustees who take an active
advisory and regulatory role in the work of the ministry.
